Albert 'Timorese Assassin' Xavier 

Having parents from Timor Leste, mother from Vemasse and father from Lospalos who migrated to Australia, his heritage and culture was valued during his upbringing. Born and raised in Australia sport has a major influence in everyday life. Sport has been entrenched into Albert’s lifestyle from a young age, reaching elite levels in most sports he undertook. Albert’s first interaction with sport came through Men’s Artistic Gymnastics whereby he reached a level of national seven and represented Victoria at the National Championships held at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. Albert and the Victorian Team polled third in the team standings. Field Hockey and Aussie Rules Football also were sports that Albert participated in, with loving the competitive nature and friendships created through team sports. Albert has also spent some time in the Australian Defense Force (Army Reserve) completing his basic military training in Kapooka New South Wales enlisting as a Preventive Medicine Technician. It was through this training that discipline was instilled into his characteristics and where Albert’s passion for Muay Thai began.

Eventually becoming bored of main stream sports and finding his outlet for a challenge in the combat sport of Muay Thai. It is where he found Laos Toohey and the Young Bulls Gym who helped nurture his talent to become an upcoming talent to be reckoned with. Albert boasts an impressive resume.

Albert has been an active competitor in Australian and global Muaythai for over 11 years. Having fought on the biggest promotions in Australia and Thailand under various rules set such as Muaythai, K1, Kard Chuek and Striking MMA, Albert has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share. He also has experience as a fight promotor, running the Muaythai events Nexus and Immortality in Victoria, AUS.
